The Uchi Deshi Program   If you would like to experience immersion in aikido, you may apply to live in the dojo as an Uchi Deshi, or live-in student. You will be given living quarters, duties to perform, extra attention to assist you in your training, moral support, comradeship with your fellow uchi deshi, and no doubt you will acquire skills and memories that will be with you for a lifetime. This program is for those who are ready to be dedicated and responsible in their path. Our uchi deshi program is based upon our own positive experiences as uchi deshi in the Iwama Aikido Dojo in Japan, under Morihiro Saito Sensei. Contact Sensei at the dojo for further information.
